North Charleston Court Records Online Search
North Charleston offers a dedicated case search portal for municipal court records. The North Charleston Municipal Court public portal allows you to find specific information about tickets, courtesy summons, and warrants. You can also review your municipal violation record and pay fines securely online through this portal.
To search traffic tickets using the portal, you need your ticket number (found in the bottom right corner of the ticket), your driver's license number, and your date of birth. Do not enter dashes or spaces. For criminal cases, you need the courtesy summons, ticket, or warrant number, your driver's license number, and your date of birth. For parking tickets, use the ticket number, license plate number, and license plate state. If you received a ticket within the past 72 hours and it does not appear in the system, check back after 72 hours.
Online payments post within 72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Major credit cards are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Scheduled time payments are accepted online, but partial payments are not. All online payments must be submitted at least 48 hours before your scheduled court date.
Note: Paying a fine online before your trial date does not affect your right to a trial by judge or jury. Certain charges require a mandatory court appearance, and payment does not relieve that requirement.
