Lexington County Clerk of Court

The Honorable Lisa M. Comer serves as Lexington County Clerk of Court. She was elected in 2016, sworn in January 2017, and serves a four-year term. Clerk Comer previously worked as a paralegal for private law firms before joining the Lexington County Clerk of Court's office in 2009. She is a member of the Board for the South Carolina Association of Clerks of Court and Registers of Deeds. The Clerk maintains all records for General Sessions, Common Pleas, and Family Court as the official records custodian for Lexington County.

The Lexington County Judicial Center opened in 2003, replacing the 1940 courthouse. It is where most court cases are heard and where the Clerk of Court office is located.
